The creative and artistic women of my family also provide me with inspiration.  My Great Grandmother Julie created white oak baskets, My Grandmother Nannie Mae and my Aunt B created their masterpieces with a needle and thread.  My Mother is a decorative painter.  With their inspiration, I call my pottery "vessels of mountain heritage".  My goal is to put this heritage into each vessel.
