My name is Lisa Conard and I have been working in clay for ten years.  In making my vessels, formation on the wheel, hand building, altering, and sculpting techniques are used.  My vessels are made of stoneware clay and are microwave and dishwasher safe.  I mix my own glazes and then apply and fire the wares to reflect our change of seasons here in western North Carolina.  I live and work in Asheville, NC, just 5 miles from where I grew up. 

As a full time potter, I strive to create beautiful, functional, works of art for everyday use.  This work has opened so many doors that I could have never imagined.  I have gotten to meet so many wonderful people from all over the world.  It is such a compliment for people to come back to add to their collection of my work.
